Forum One Communications is pleased to mark the start of Black History Month with the launch of ForLoveofLiberty.net!
We at Forum One believe that the sacrifice of African-Americans on behalf of our country is a story that needs to be told in order for people to better understand American history, especially the civil rights movement. We are grateful to the U.S. Army for the opportunity to participate in this important project and to build their official web site at ForLoveofLiberty.net.
Designed specifically for students, educators, and veterans, the site and its content enable users to experience the history of African-American soldiers in an extremely personal manner. This experience is aided by a number of distinct features, including:
I. Compelling Design
• Intuitive information architecture that enables users to easily discover and interact with site content.
• Powerful visual design meant to respectfully convey the great sacrifice African-American soldiers have made on behalf of the United States.

II. Gripping Stories
• Rich stories, produced by the U.S. Army, that convey the lives and events of noteworthy individuals and units.
• Site functionality that enables and invites veterans and their families to submit their own personal stories to be included in the story repository featured on the site.

III. Engaging Multimedia Content
• Hundreds of photos and videos, some of which were not previously published/publically available, depicting the history of African-Americans in the U.S. military from the Revolution to the present.
• Interactive features that enable users to rate, comment, and share the content they find most interesting.

IV. Valuable Classroom Resources
• Downloadable discussion guides to help high school and college teachers bring the story of African-American servicemen and women to their students.

Collectively, these features present a compelling depiction of the heroic deeds and experiences of African-American soldiers throughout our nation's history.
