Q: Where is Forum One in 2010? A: In the two fastest-growing economies in the world!
Forum One staff are based in Washington, Seattle, and San Francisco — serving clients in those cities as well as New York, Chicago, Geneva, and elsewhere.
But in 2010 we're also expanding our work in Qatar and China. Both are fast growing, increasingly have organizations grappling with substantive policy issues, and have interest in more effective digital strategies to help them succeed. Forum One staff are spending more time in both countries:
Qatar: We have been working with colleagues in Doha off and on since 2003, most recently helping run an Arabic Bloggers Forum for Qatar's Supreme Council of Information and Communication Technology (ictQatar). Our president, Chris Wolz, will be in Doha in April meeting with clients and potential partners.
China: We have worked on international programs involving China for years, but typically from a distance. This year we have met with potential partners in Hong Kong, which in addition to being the business bridge to China, is increasingly becoming the communications and policy bridge as well. Our chairman, Jim Cashel, has been on a sabbatical in Chengdu, China, and is overseeing interesting project work for Forum One from there.
We're pleased to be increasing our reach to help organizations with important projects around the globe.
