Jason Cranford Teague, Former Director of Web Design Standards at AOL, Joins Forum One

I’m pleased to announce that Jason Cranford Teague has joined Forum One as our Managing Director of User Experience and Design! Jason will lead Forum One’s team of information architects, interface engineers, and visual designers to produce innovative user-centric web sites and online applications.

We’re excited to have such an experienced and accomplished user experience expert join our company. Jason brings more than 16 years of experience in usability and design and has written over a dozen books on digital media and user interface design, including the best-selling, Speaking In Styles: The Fundamentals of CSS for Web Designers, CSS3Visual Quickstart and Fluid Web Typography. Jason regularly speaks at interactive conferences, including South by Southwest, Next Conference in Berlin, Voices That Matter, CSS Summit, and Web Directions.

As former Director of Web Design Standards for AOL from 2007 to 2009, Jason was responsible for the redesign of Pixcetera, a top 10 photo journalism web site, and promoted web application and content development tools, technologies, and best-practices techniques to visual designers, user interface designers, web technologists, web application developers, and web content authors developing solutions for AOL programming.

Most recently Jason worked as the Manager of the Interactive Design Systems at Marriott. Previously, he was the Creative Director at AOL, and member of the W3C CSS Workgroup.

Jason combines his creativity and expertise in web technology, design, user experience, and typography to help him lead his team to create cutting-edge designs and engaging online user experiences. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature with a concentration in visual arts from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and a Master of Science in Technical Communication including a graphics certificate from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
