Seoul to Seattle: Nam-ho Park Rejoins Forum One as West Coast Regional Director

Online expert and former employee Nam-ho Park has rejoined Forum One as the Regional Director of West Coast operations in Seattle, WA. In his new role, Nam-ho will contribute to regional project work, marketing, and business development activities. Nam-ho will also serve as Forum One’s Director of Mobile Services, spearheading the expansion of our mobile practice to deliver useful and relevant mobile sites and applications across multiple platforms.

Nam-ho previously worked for Forum One for six years as the Managing Director of User Experience and Design. He was instrumental in work with clients such as the World Bank Group, American Academy of Pediatrics, and the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Relief.

In 2007, Nam-ho and his family moved back to their home country of Korea, where he most recently provided training and worked with nonprofits on the effective use of web and mobile technologies at the Daum Foundation. Nam-ho's accomplishments in Korea include: 

  • Organizing the ChangeON conference, a Korean NTEN, and launching its corresponding website (ChangeOn.org), Twitter, Facebook, and mobile properties
  • Serving as a key organizer for TEDxSeoul, the premier TedX event in Korea
  • Playing a key role on the project team for the 2030 Master Urban Plan for Hanoi, Vietnam, ahead of its 1000-year celebration in 2010

Nam-ho has a diverse background in web development, user experience design, and mobile technology. He supplements his knowledge of the virtual world with a background in physical architecture, holding a Master's in Architecture from Columbia University. In addition, he brings to Forum One experience working with organizations in both the Eastern and Western hemispheres, making him a valuable addition to the team!
