AWF has turned to Forum One Communications repeatedly since 2001 for strategic, design, technical, and fundraising support. AWF's Web services must support individual, government, and corporate partners throughout the United States, Europe, and East and Southern Africa. Their staff in eleven countries also use Web tools to coordinate and share information and resources.
Forum One Solution
Forum One Communications plays a key role in all of AWF's Web work. Examples of specific tasks include:
- Conducted a series of management meetings in the US and Africa, and subsequently developed an overall Internet strategy and specific implementation plan.
- Completed a graphical and usability redesign of their old, static site.
- Put in place the Internet-based infrastructure to help offices in Africa and the United States communicate more effectively, including custom design of tools and services geared specifically to their work.
- Implemented a SyntaxCMS-based content management system that powers both their public Web site and their private intranet.
- Integrated database and email tools to give their staff in remote locations better access to Web-based resources.
- Developed and helped test online fundraising strategies and approaches through new integration of context-relevant action/fundraising appeals throughout the site.
- Periodic Web statistics and online performance analysis.
- Collaboration on joint projects and funding proposals.
