How to fix a fragmented home page to help users of The Tax Policy Center’s Web site easily find the resources and tools they need?

The Tax Policy Center’s Web site is home to many valuable resources. But, the resources were getting lost due to the site’s design and structure. Forum One Communications helped The Tax Policy Center develop a logical information architecture and then provided their internal development team with guidance on design. The re-design of the homepage included:
- A feature area that prominently displays all the relevant resources within the site on a timely issue. This approach illuminates the topic and provides quick access to relevant key products, such as publications and estimates.
- A flat listing of all tax-related topics, serving as a short-cut for repeat visitors to the site.
- A consistent site framework for ease of navigation.
