Internet Strategist/Project Director -Seattle

We currently have an opening for a Internet Strategist/Project Director to work in Seattle, WA.

Responsibilities:

The Internet Strategist at Forum One will work closely with influential organizations in Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, providing internet business strategy, online communications, user experience and technology expertise, to respond to some of the world's most pressing problems. The Internet Strategist will develop and manage project goals, resources, and schedules for multiple simultaneous client engagements. The Internet Strategist will actively work with Business Development Managers to expand business with new clients and existing clients as needed.

Sector Experience:

The Internet Strategist at Forum One requires a variety of skills, which are outlined below. In addition to these we encourage candidates with interests and prior experience working in international development, global health, education, or related topics within the non-profit sector to apply.

Necessary Skills:

  • Five years of professional experience in a technical consulting environment, with three years of hands on experience managing large to mid-scale internet related projects
  • Ability to independently identify clients' technical needs and define requirements
  • Strong demonstrated experience in managing technical projects; including managing project teams and balancing scope, time and quality
  • Experience in management and strategic consulting, with an ability to independently develop smart strategic plans
  • Comfort with and consistently able to manage competing demands and deadlines. Must be a self-starter, and be able to work independently and proactively to identify and solve problems
  • Strong understanding of, and interest in, the use of internet technologies as a strategic tool for organizations
  • Ability to generate high-quality proposals and related materials under tight deadlines

Education:

  • Bachelors or Masters Degree
  • Experience in international development, global health, education, or a related sector is a plus
  • International work experience and language skills are also very valuable
