Titled "Social Sites for Social Good," the session will focus on how organizations are effectively using popular social networking sites such as Facebook, MySpace, and Twitter as well as social media sites such as YouTube, Delicious, and Digg. A diverse panel will present case studies about critical issues facing nonprofits including environmental conservation, human rights, and public health. Speakers will tell stories from the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, the Nature Conservancy, the Genocide Intervention Network, Health and Human Services, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
