Suzanne Rainey to participate in Palestine/Israel Health Meetings in Jerusalem

Suzanne Rainey, a Forum One Director of Business Development, will travel to Jerusalem April 26-30 to participate in meetings with Palestinian and Isreali health professionals and policy makers. The meetings are part of an ongoing project that is examining the role that health can play as a common point of focus to foster professional exchanges and networking.
Suzanne will join a panel of distinguished presenters and will discuss the role that internet tools and services such as professional networks, online libraries of knowledge, and collaborative workspaces can play in this Palestine/Israeli 'Health Commons.'
The panel will focus on the varying roles of telemedicine, online networking, distance education, and online knowledge sharing and how different technologies can be used to support this health improvement program in the region. The group will have the opportunity to visit two major Palestinian and Israeli hospitals to learn first-hand about successes and challenges.
Representatives of the Palestinian and Israeli Ministries of Health and other medical officials from both governments will also be present at the two-day workshop.
