McCormick & Company is a global leader in the production, distribution and research of spices and herbs on the global market. As part of the research, development and knowledge base, the McCormick Science Institute helps to support scientific research and disseminate information on the health benefits of culinary herbs and spices to all stakeholders including consumers and health professionals. The Institute approached Forum One to help them plan and design a Global Spice Network that would connect their internal community of scientific and subject matter experts.

Forum One worked with key McCormick Science Institute staff to identify and define the goals, objectives, services, and requirements of the new online community. This included conducting audience interviews and analysis of key stakeholders. In the next phase, Forum One helped the Institute to plan for the build of the network. This included providing assistance in platform assessment and selection, delivering content requirements, developing the information architecture, and visual design. The end product gave McCormick a user-centric IA and compelling and intuitive visual design.
