Our Work

The National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) works to make affordable housing available to those who need it. A membership organization, NCSHA supports the work of more than 50 state housing agencies and more than 350 private-sector corporations from the housing finance industry. With such a large and geographically dispersed community, NCSHA needed a way for information and conversation to flow quickly and easily between its members and other diverse stakeholders.

Forum One's solution was a Drupal-powered online community that vastly simplified an otherwise complicated communication framework. This online community provides finance housing professionals with access to private groups, detailed user profiles, online discussions, document sharing, educational resources, and real-time notifications. We took the project a step beyond a traditional web site redesign project to meet NCSHA's unique needs. We also integrated the community with NCSHA's web site and NetForum constituent relationship management system. This makes it possible for members to enjoy single sign-on whether participating in the online community, registering for NCHSA events, purchasing items from the online store, or updating their personal information. The result is much better coordination among NCSHA members and a vastly improved user experience for NCSHA transactions.
