Our Work

Abt Associates hired Forum One Communications to recommend, develop, and maintain a suite of online tools in support of its five-year PSP-One project. PSP-One was an initiative funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development to strengthen private sector involvement in reproductive health and family-planning efforts in developing countries. A key project objective was to foster collaboration among geographically dispersed partners and to disseminate resources to educate and inform decision-makers around the world.

To help PSP-One achieve its objectives over this extended period, Forum One developed a detailed and deliberate project management approach and a continuous improvement plan. We delivered thoughtful ongoing communications support and tailored site management and enhancement services, including a long-term communications and social media strategy designed to develop lasting global partnerships with knowledge providers and community participants. We also provided ongoing performance monitoring and quarterly web metrics reporting, which measured the site's success against a number of performance indicators. We recommended and implemented technical enhancements to help coordinate community management and content development efforts. Finally, we reviewed and deployed new web tools, including a monitoring and evaluation reporting database, e-petitions, and HTML newsletter services. Each tool was adapted, as necessary, to meet PSP-One's evolving needs. As a result of our services, PSP-One's online presence grew dramatically each year, spanning 150 countries by project end.
