As a project officer, Aimee supports all aspects of project delivery, including organizational and stakeholder research, target audience analysis, communications campaign planning, functional requirements definition, business objectives identification, web analytics, and platform evaluation and selection. She came to Forum One from Neighbor To Nation (NTN), a federation of human service and medical research nonprofits. She organized NTN's annual online membership application process and advised more than 120 member nonprofits in best practices and marketing techniques used in workplace giving campaigns.
Aimee received her B.A. in communication studies from Clemson University and recently earned her master's in Public Administration with a nonprofit management concentration at George Mason University. She is passionate about utilizing her communications and nonprofit background to contribute to public sector concerns, ranging from environmental sustainability to health and the local food movement.
Aimee spends much of her free time with her hands in the soil. She volunteers at a local community garden's after-school club for students interested in organic gardening, and she has been known to do yardwork... for fun. She's ready to work hard, no matter the challenge. One summer during college, she picked peaches in an orchard every morning at daybreak, then set up a roadside stand to sell what she and other pickers had harvested. It was exhausting and hot work, she remembers, but she loved every minute of it.
What you may not know: Aimee is a workout video junkie, from '80s-style aerobics on VHS to yoga and kickboxing DVDs.
