Senior Project Officer

Chris grew up in California. He moved on for professional and personal opportunities, and so he satisfies his California Dreamin’ fix by rooting for the San Francisco Giants and the Golden State Warriors.

He was born in San Diego, spent his teenage years in Santa Cruz, and graduated with a B.A. in law and society from UC Santa Barbara. After graduation, he moved to Hokkaido, Japan, where he says he learned Japanese, ate sushi, and frequently got lost on the subway.

Back in the States, Chris earned an M.A. in communication from Johns Hopkins University and worked at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health’s Center for Communication Programs. His forté is using emerging information technology to develop communications strategies and foster collaboration. He did this for health professionals in developing countries while at Hopkins, and for Fortune 500 companies and international NGOs while at a public affairs agency in D.C.

As a senior project officer at Forum One, Chris puts his background to work to meet project objectives with respect to cost, schedule, deliverables, scope, functionality, and quality. He interacts as the formal day-to-day contact between Forum One and many clients.

You may also catch Chris waxing knowledgeably about beers and whiskeys--he’s a connoisseur.

You may not know: The worst job he ever held was as a barista at a bakery. “Waking up at 4 a.m. is just inhumane.”

His RSS feeds include: TechCrunch, Fast Company, Slashdot, Boing Boing, Web Strategy by Jeremiah, Brian Solis’s Blog, and various development blogs.
