Senior Information Architect

Courtney's roots are in Kansas, where she was born, grew up, and went to college. She earned her B.F.A. from the University of Kansas, with a focus in graphic design, and stayed on at the university to work as an interaction designer responsible for several major web redesigns. (And, yes, she's a Jayhawks fan.)

Courtney joined Forum One in 2006 as an information architect with experience in brand strategy and development, experiential and data-driven web design, audience analysis, site audits, and wireframe creation. She now serves as a senior information architect. In this role, she is a core part of our User Experience & Design team and is responsible for overseeing full-scale site development and testing of projects.

You can catch her sharpening and sharing her expertise at many professional organizations, such as the AIGA (professional design organization), D.C. Information Architects (DCIA), Interaction Design Association (IxDA), and Usability Professionals Association (UPA). When not at work, she loves to play ultimate frisbee and listen to live music at the Black Cat.

What you may not know: Courtney's favorite food is anything Ethiopian.
