Project Director

Cynthia exemplifies the saying that if you want something done, ask a busy person. She is a painter and sculptor who also crochets, knits, bakes and does other crafts, plays golf and tennis, and loves to dance. She is active in the Bolivian Women’s Association, which raises funds to help children and the elderly in her native country of Bolivia.

And she gets things done at Forum One. As a project director, she works with foundations, governments, and nonprofits, helping them envision big-picture goals while also determining how to accomplish those goals through different online strategies.

Previously, Cynthia was ICT principal analyst at Development Alternatives, Inc. Among her many assignments, she worked in Iraq, where she developed a website for an agriculture reconstruction and development project; Indonesia, where she developed the front end of a budgeting system to track post-Tsunami funds; and Bolivia and El Salvador, where she developed a PDA mobile solutions for microfinance lenders. She also developed interactive websites so that the governments of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia could share hydrological and meteorological information.

Cynthia came to the U.S. to attend Albright College in Pennsylvania, where she earned her B.S. in computer science and art. She also has an M.S. in marketing and business from Johns Hopkins University’s Carey Business School. She remains connected to Bolivia through her volunteer work, her love of Bolivian cooking, and her husband--whom she met here but who is also from Bolivia.
