Dan's first job as a web developer was at a charter school in Camden, New Jersey. In addition to his required tasks to teach computers and act as network technician, he took the initiative to develop web-based solutions to ease many administrative and teaching tasks.
Dan continues to go above and beyond what's required as a web developer at Forum One. He applies his expertise to all stages of solution design, development, and testing. He has an extensive web development skill set and firm understanding of software development best practices. As a result of client requirements, constraints, and personal enjoyment, he uses PHP, CSS, XML, XSL, JavaScript, MySQL, Flash/ActionScript, HTML/DHTML, and a range of graphic design tools.
When Dan worked at a small IT shop in Philadelphia, he helped small businesses, start-ups, and educational institutions find web-based solutions to market their services and automate processes. Building off his bachelor's degree from Rowan University in business administration, with a focus in management information systems, Dan continues to sharpen his skills professionally to assist Forum One clients with custom-designed, viable solutions.
Dan's a South Jersey guy, so he's an Eagles fan. He treasures the times he got up early with his family, packed fishing rods, and headed to Ocean City for a day out on a boat. He says it didn't matter whether he caught anything, although he once hooked a tan sand shark that he unsuccessfully tried to turn into a pet. Nowadays, he enjoys aquariums and cooking, as well as running in the woods with his two Jack Russell terriers, Jay-C and Whiskey.
You may not know: A first-time homeowner, Dan is into looking through home magazines for ideas and decorating his house.
