Matt loves programming. As nerdy as it sounds, this intense interest in getting the code done right makes him a tremendous asset as a Forum One web developer.
As a web developer, Matt assists with the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of Forum One client web sites and solutions for online community building, information sharing, and content management. He has a versatile understanding of many technologies, including PHP, MySQL, JavaScript/AJAX, HTML, CSS, Flash, and a range of graphic design and interaction tools. He also is a good citizen of the WordPress community -- developing and contributing open-source plugins, like Pods CMS, that extend functionality of the popular blogging software.
He was the lead developer of Forum One's award-winning government transparency project, Legistalker.
Matt graduated from Bridgewater College with a B.S. in computer science and a minor in physics. His favorite travel destination is the Turks and Caicos, where he and his wife honeymooned.
You may not know: He enjoys watching reruns of the TV sitcom Newhart.
His tags: Animal lover, Programmer, Cyclist, Gamer, Volunteer, "Go Mountaineers!"
