Suzanne grew up in Littleton, Colorado, with a view of the Rockies and the wide open skies that she still misses. But her mother placed a globe in their kitchen, which inspired her to imagine other lands and other cultures. Ultimately, this led to many of her most rewarding professional and personal experiences.
At Forum One, Suzanne manages web strategy and implementation projects for a range of clients involved in global health and international development. She has partnered with long-time client Abt Associates, where she led the online strategy and ongoing management for PSP-One, a large, multiyear project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development to expand the role of the private sector in delivering reproductive health products and services in developing countries. She is currently working with Save the Children's Healthy Newborn Network to connect and inspire newborn health practitioners worldwide.
Suzanne spent five years with Arthur Andersen and KPMG Peat Marwick's Barents Group on international fiscal development projects. The work took her to Slovenia, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, and the Philippines. She is a member of the Society for International Development and Global Health Council. Her B.A. is in English literature and international studies from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. For a Peace Corps tour, she spent two years in rural Poland teaching beginning English.
Suzanne has two young daughters. She is a member of the Washington Street United Methodist Church and waxes forth at meetings of her book club, audaciously named the "Smart, Funny & Hip NOVA Girls Book Club." It's private, so don't even try to find them on Facebook.
You may not know: Suzanne planted her first garden this year -- a great success!
