Forum One is looking for a Communication Strategy Lead to support one of our federal clients. This position can sit remotely, working eastern standard hours. As a Communication Strategy Lead, you will provide knowledge of communications best practices and make strategic recommendations to the client. You will work closely with the client to strategize, implement, review, and analyze social media work, while providing content strategy and editorial support for client web properties.

 

What you’ll do:

  • Develop strategic communications plans and implement social media best practices, particularly for government accounts.
  • Lead the execution of integrated (traditional and digital) communications strategies, media plans and campaigns.
  • Review materials developed by other team members and provide constructive feedback and training.
  • Provide expertise to the client in an informative, collaborative, yet authoritative way.
  • Lead weekly internal and client communications-related meetings.
  • Identify project risks/issues and mitigation strategies in concert with senior project management staff.
  • Analyze the performance of campaigns and deliver actionable insights and recommendations to clients.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the client’s mission, internal structure, and industry/environmental issues in addition to their audiences, activities & programs.
  • Elevate Forum One’s strategic acumen, relevance and expertise in the health, government and nonprofit sectors.

 

What you bring to the table: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • At least 6+ years of applicable experience planning and implementing communications campaigns
  • Demonstrable knowledge of Content Strategy, Paid Social, Paid Search and Display/Programmatic
  • Experience in government or health sectors
