We’re looking for an exceptional Director of Strategy – an expert who can successfully guide our growing strategy team, and manage our portfolio of strategy work. What kind of clients may you be working for? We currently support Peace Corps, The Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE), USAID, Center for Strategic and International Studies, NMAAHC, Fairfax County Public Schools,  EPA and more! 

As the Director of Strategy, you’ll be responsible for bringing strong, insight-driven strategic thinking across a diverse array of projects at Forum One. You’ll collaborate across disciplines and within your own department to develop strategy deliverables such as strategy briefs, digital marketing plans, and content strategies that engage clients and inspire project teams to come up with tailored and innovative solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with your design and technology partners to bring powerful, strategically-grounded work to life. Our team is made up of highly motivated individuals who love to help agencies reach their full digital potential, and we're looking for someone with a similar mindset who sees the big picture, believes in our company’s mission, and brings valuable experience.

What you’ll do:

  • Spearhead business development and execution of digital strategy, marketing, and communications projects.
  • Lead strategic vision and project team collaboration on strategy and technical projects.
  • Drive improvement and standardization of strategy work on all client engagements.
  • Manage our team of junior strategists.
  • Identify clients’ digital challenges and analyze trends and data to determine strategic implications

What you bring to the table:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – concentration in Marketing, Communications, Policy or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, communication, or strategy.
  • Experience developing integrated (web, paid, social, email) digital engagement and growth strategies.
  • Experience leading complex client engagements within the social sector.
  • Proven writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
