On-Site Project Manager

What you’ll do:

  • Build customer confidence, you’ll be committed to increasing customer satisfaction, set achievable customer expectations, assume responsibility for solving customer problems, ensure commitments to customers are met.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand the client’s mission, audiences, activities and programs.  With guidance/oversight from senior project management staff, communicate strategic opportunities and approaches to clients and build consensus among client and team.
  • Manage the schedule, scope, and budget on small-to-medium projects to achieve a high level of client satisfaction and profitability.
  • Identify and communicate key project goals, objectives, and timelines to project team with guidance/oversight from senior project management staff.  Facilitate project team in translating client strategy into user stories with acceptance criteria and level of effort estimates.
  • Lead internal team meetings, provides clear communication about project requirements and process while allowing appropriate autonomy for team members. Provides regular scope, budget, timeline updates to team.
  • Track/adjust budgets throughout project.  Accurately project staff resourcing for projects.

What you bring to the table:

  • Uses the Project Management Institute (PMI) standards for change control procedures to handle requests quickly and efficiently
  • Certified scrum master with expert knowledge in agile methodologies, specifically Kanban
  • Experience in JIRA, Github, and the Microsoft Suite
  • Manages projects from inception to completion
  • Experienced working with a remote staff across multiple time zones and using various communication tools
  • Experience in managing a multi-discipline team and monitoring team health and working with the project management team to identify areas of improvement
  • Ability to multitask and juggle competing priorities
  • Skilled in managing client and vendor relationships and comfortable negotiating scope, discussing risks/issues, and providing recommendations with stakeholders with varying levels of seniority, as well as technical experience
  • Experience in planning project timelines, deciding budget requirements, defining scope, and allocating resources
  • Experienced in managing web-based and print projects
  • Experience in navigating a project through the entirety of their lifecycles.
  • 5+ years of experience providing project management for design, development, and multimedia projects
  • Manages the day-to-day execution of client engagements
  • Serves as a point of contact for clients about project progress
