Strengthening Capacity to Deliver Quality Healthcare

Due to world events, AMCP needed to ensure they could still reach their members with essential knowledge opportunities via a virtual conference.
See Impact

Managed care pharmacy practitioners work daily to improve patient outcomes throughout the United States. Staying up-to-date on prescribing best practices, improving collaboration, and intensifying advocacy remains a vital part of their success.

Forum One worked with the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP), a professional association of pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and professionals in life sciences dedicated to helping patients get the medication they need at a price they can afford, to make progress toward increasing learning opportunities for their members. Due to world events, AMCP needed to ensure they could still reach their members with essential knowledge opportunities via a virtual conference.

Increasing access to learning to improve patient outcomes

In 2020, AMCP needed a partner to help them build a virtual experience that promoted their first online conference for managed care leaders and digital health innovators, which took place during the coronavirus pandemic.  We developed a digital communications strategy based on the needs of the audiences attending the conference and relevant topics that members noted as important.

The primary goal of our comprehensive digital strategy was to promote attendance, thus increasing learning and overall health outcomes. This included a series of videos to promote the conference and the value of AMCP membership and the organization. At a critical time for the medical industry—when innovation is a necessity—our collaboration provided AMCP with the tools they needed to build and enhance their members’ skills through an immersive online experience.  that reinforced their thought leadership within the managed care and pharmaceutical industry.

Impact

  • Enhanced members’ skills through an immersive online experience.
  • Reinforced thought leadership within the managed care and pharmaceutical industry.
  • Promoted virtual attendance, thus increasing learning and overall health outcomes at the onset of the pandemic.
