Digital Solutions that Improve Public Health

Public health issues affect everyone — from complex global challenges to day-to-day necessities for local communities. Clear, timely digital health communications are essential in providing the right information to those who need it most.

Forum One specializes in crafting user-friendly digital solutions for the healthcare sector. More than 60% of our work over the past five years has served health-centered organizations, from global aid organizations, to research institutes, professional associations, and government agencies. We help organizations to communicate accurate and actionable health data, craft clear and impactful public health and healthcare communications, and share best practices to improve healthcare quality and outcomes for all.

Health Communications and Digital Operations

We work with a range of local and global health organizations to raise public awareness, share accurate and actionable information, and change behaviors to improve public health. We manage social media and omnichannel digital communications for the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), helping millions of Americans each day to access healthcare services. We have led measurably successful digital campaigns and communications for organizations such as the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to reach and move audiences and improve public health.

Health Data Management and Visualization for Policy Impact

We present complex health data in ways that allow varied audiences to explore, understand, share, and apply information to make smarter, data-driven decisions at all levels. We successfully employ digital data storytelling to share actionable data to improve health policy and practice. For over a decade, we have designed and developed the annual County Health Rankings and Roadmaps, an influential and comprehensive source for county-level health data and insights to improve community health. We also designed and developed the City Health Dashboard to share and compare public health data across hundreds of U.S. cities. We’ve also visualized complex global data on how AIDS funding is used around the world, and on the opioid epidemic in America with our partners at amfAR

Improving Health Service Delivery and Resilience

Our team works with leading global health organizations and research institutes to share proven best practices to improve healthcare delivery quality, value, and outcomes on the ground. We have been a digital and strategic partner to USAID for more than a decade, including multiple initiatives to share best practices among global health professionals working in the field. We work with the American Red Cross, Mercy Corps, Oxfam, Save the Children, and numerous state-level agencies to improve disaster preparedness and resilience. In partnership with public and private sector organizations, we launched the Washington All-Payer Claims Database, an innovative digital tool that allows Washington State residents to directly compare prices for healthcare services to maximize quality and value.
